William Spier was the producer and director of both programs.  This script was the combination of two half-hour &lt;i&gt;The Adventures of Sam Spade&lt;/i&gt; episodes that aired in 1947.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This hour-long episode features the regular &lt;i&gt;The Adventures of Sam Spade&lt;/i&gt;
